Mrs. Borneman is founder, director and master instructor at Academy of Excellence.

As an Experienced Montessori Educator and ESL Tutor, Mrs. Borneman understands the unique needs of children, and our curriculum is designed to meet those specific needs.

Academically gifted students, those with Attention Deficit Disorders, and mainstream students alike all benefit from the After-School Academy.

Not only a highly regarded teacher Mrs. Borneman has over 30 years of experience in Martial Arts and Fitness.

Why our After-School Action Program may not be for everyone

We may not be the kind of After-School Program you are looking for. We are not a babysitting service, nor are we a day care center. If you're looking for a casual, unstructured, or temporary program we certainly aren't right for you. If you are looking for the cheapest service rather than a top-quality service at a great value, we are probably not the cheapest.

But if you like the idea of a structured educational program that concentrates on developing the whole self, mentally and physically - then we most certainly are the ideal program for you.

Sandy took him on as a full time after school student and he loved the change from regular daycare.

He showed a new interest in reading, math, science and all types of subjects that Sandy had been exposing him too each day. As the year progressed so did Evan's confidence and school grades. His report cards showed steady improvements and the final report card stated that Evan was meeting all expectations.

Program Duration and Eligibility

Eligible Students: Boys and Girls in Grades 2 through 10th grade. This exclusive program is limited to 20 children. Returning children from last year who are in good standing will automatically have a space reserved.

The After-School Action Program is a full time program and runs from Sept - June. Part time students are not accepted due to our full time wait list.

To avoid the wait list, you should apply well before the start of the school year for the best chance of an opening being available.

We would love the opportunity to meet you and give your family a Free Introductory Tour of our facilities and give your child a Free Introductory Class. During the tour we will explain all of the features and benefits of our After-School Program, show you our facilities, and answer any questions you might have about our program.

To apply for your Tour and Class, simply fill out the Application Form below. We generally respond to on-line applications within 48 hours to confirm your reservation for your Free Introductory Tour and Class. Confirmation of your tour date, time, driving directions, etc. will be provided when we notify you of your application's preliminary approval.
